Privacy Policy
MailMustang is run by Vacaytrip LLC. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers visitors to mailmustang.com, the businesses that use MailMustang, and the people those businesses email.

We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on our website. Our network provider, Cloudflare, handles your IP address so that the site can reach you and is protected from attacks.
Businesses that use MailMustang
When your business applies and uses MailMustang, we collect:
- Your email address and password. We store only a scrambled form of the password, never the password itself.
- Your business name, website and postal address.
- What you told us about what you send, how your list was built and how much you expect to send.
- The domains you send from, your campaigns, and your contact lists.
- A record of key actions in your account, such as signing up, importing contacts and sending campaigns.
We use one cookie to keep you signed in, for up to 14 days. We also briefly use your IP address to limit repeated sign-up and password reset attempts, and delete it within a day.
We use this information to review your application, run your account, protect delivery for every customer, and send you account email such as confirmation links, password resets and notices about the service.
People who receive email through MailMustang
If you got an email from a business that uses MailMustang, that business gave us your details and decides how they are used. We handle them on its behalf. For each person, we store:
- The email address, and a first name if the business provided one.
- Whether the person is subscribed, and which campaigns were sent to them.
- Whether each email was delivered, opened, bounced, reported as spam or used to unsubscribe. We learn about opens from a tiny image in the email, and about bounces and spam reports from the receiving mailbox provider.
Every email has an unsubscribe link. Once you use it, that business can no longer email you through MailMustang, and we keep your address on its do-not-email list so it stays that way. For anything else about your details, contact the business that emailed you. You can also write to us, and we will pass your request on.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use anyone's details for advertising or for our own marketing.
- We do not share one customer's contacts with another customer.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of providers to run MailMustang. They may only use the information to provide their service.
- Amazon Web Services, which delivers the email and stores our encrypted backups.
- Cloudflare, which manages our domain and delivers our website.
We will also share information if the law requires it, to protect people from spam, fraud or harm, or as part of a sale or merger of our business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
Where it is kept, and for how long
Information is stored in the United States, on servers we run and with Amazon Web Services. We keep an account's information while the account is open. When a business closes its account, we delete its information within 30 days, and our backups are deleted within a further 35 days. We keep do-not-email lists and the record of key account actions for as long as they are needed to honor unsubscribes, keep the service secure and settle disputes.
How we protect it
Each business's information is kept apart, and the database itself enforces it. Passwords are stored scrambled. Backups are encrypted, and only the people who run MailMustang can reach the systems that hold the information.
Your choices
You can ask us for a copy of your information, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. Some of these requests are handled by hand for now, while we build them into the app.
Children
MailMustang is for businesses. It is not meant for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect children's information.
Changes to this policy
If we make an important change, we will email our customers before it takes effect, and update the date above. Our Terms of Service explain how changes to the terms work.
